How to add EA to MT4

Here we will explain how to add EA to MT4.

1. prepare the EA (.ex4) you want to add to MT4.
2. Start MT4 and select “Tools”-> “MetaEditor” to start MetaEditor
3. Right-click “Exparts” displayed in the “Navigator” window on the left side of the launched MetaEditor and select “Open Folder”.
4. The folder containing the MT4 EA will be opened, so copy the EA prepared in 1.) to that folder.
5. Click “View”-> “Navigator” in MT4 to display the navigator window
6. To load the EA stored in the folder, right-click “Expert Advisor” in the “Navigator” window of MT4 and click “Update”.
7. Display Chart to which you want to add an EA (If you are displaying multiple Charts, click once on the Chart you want to add an EA to enable that Chart)
8. Find the EA with the same name as the EA file name copied to the MT4 folder in 4.) in the “Expert Advisor” tree in the Navigator Window and double-click it.
9. Since the EA setting screen is displayed, check “Allow DLL Imports” on the “Common” tab.
10. On the “Parameters” tab, change any parameters you want to customize.
11. After completing the settings, click the “OK” button to reflect the EA.
