tdoc directory constitution

This section describes the directory structure of the 3GPP FTP server that stores the unstandardized tdoc.

Below is a link to the 3GPP FTP server.

http://www.3gpp.org/ftp/

A directory is created for each Technical specification group in tdoc, and the red frame in the image below corresponds to it.

Once you enter the directory of the target Technical specification group, you will now see the directory for each Working Group. Here, as an example, enter the TSG RAN directory that handles LTE radio access networks.

If you enter the directory for each Working group, the directory for each meeting will be displayed. Here, enter the directory of RAN which is the Tecnical specification group.

When you enter the directory for each meeting, the directory where tdoc is stored, the directory where documents that communicate with the outside are stored, the directory where the target meeting result is stored, etc. are displayed.

The structure of each directory is as follows.

  1. Agenda
    • Lists the Work Items to be discussed at the target meeting.
  2. Docs
    • This is where the actual document to be discussed is stored. Documents handled here include tdoc and CR before standardization. The document that describes the status etc. of the document registered here is described in “TDoc_List_Meeting_xx.xlsx” (xx is each Meeting name) in the same directory.
What is Status: It describes whether it was treated as a subject of discussion, whether it was discussed and agreed upon, or whether it was passed on to the next meeting.
  3. Info for workplan
    • Omitted (will be updated at a later date)
  4. Invitation
    • Contains information about the target meeting venue. Information for those who participate in the meeting.
  5. LSin
    • Contains documents used for discussions with other working groups. Documents from other Working groups are stored here.
  6. LSout
    • Contains documents used for discussions with other working groups. Documents to be submitted to other working groups are stored here.
  7. Report
    • The minutes of the meeting content are stored here. For each Tdoc for each Work Item, the exchanges between the companies / members who participated in the discussion are described.
  8. Tdoclist
    • There is a tdoc list under Docs, but it is also stored here. The content is not exactly the same, but compare the detailed differences.
